What is ABR®?  How Do Home Buyers Benefit?
The Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR®) designation is the benchmark of excellence in buyer representation. This coveted designation is awarded to real estate practitioners by the Real Estate BUYER’S AGENT Council (REBAC) of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR)who meet the specified educational and practical experience criteria. ABR® education provides the buyer representation expertise needed for an edge in todays evermore competitive market.

What does this mean to you, the Buyer?  Your REALTOR®:

  • Has documented experience with regard to effectively representing buyers in real estate transactions!
  • Has taken extra steps and the iniative to become better educated with regard to negotiating for and representing you!
  • Is a member of REBAC and the National Association of REALTORS®
    • To be a member of NAR and a REALTOR®, a real estate agent must abide by a strict set of professional principles (code of ethics) and have pledged to serve customers and clients honestly and fairly.

All of that being said….. I am pleased to announce that I received my ABR® designation on July 17, 2008 upon completion of the educational requirements and submission of my documented experience requirment. I am excited about using my newly aquired education combined with years of real estate experience to better help you to obtain your home ownership dreams!
